What is CBH and what does it cost?

At the Center for Behavioral Health at Spalding University, you can expect compassionate and ethical care intended to empower you to live a more balanced life. Through psychological assessment or one-on-one, group, family, or couples therapy, you may gain the skills and understanding to achieve your individualized goals.

The Center is a low-cost, outpatient provider. Fees, collected at the time of service, are determined by annual income and family size and pre arranged with the front desk staff prior to your appointment. Proof of income may be required to qualify for reduced fees. Check, cash, or credit card payment will be accepted.

What should I expect at CBH?

If you are a first time client at the CBH, our administrative assistant will be your primary point of contact prior to you coming in for your appointment. She will mail or email you forms to complete electronically, to bring in, or you may arrive approximately 30 minutes early to your appointment to complete the information needed. Please be aware that we must have completed paperwork on file prior to your appointment beginning. We want to ensure we thoroughly share about our services and policies through our paperwork, be able to answer any questions you may have about us, and ensure you are able to begin your services at the time scheduled with your clinician.

Where is CBH located?

The Center for Behavioral Health is currently located on Spalding University’s campus in a building called the Mansion East Building (851 S. Fourth Street Louisville, KY 40203). For parking, follow either Third or Fourth Street to York Street and then turn onto Library Lane across from the Public Library. Once on Library Lane, please proceed to the end of the road and you will see Parking Lot A to your right. Take a right into the parking lot and you may select any of the available spaces in this area. Once you arrive in the parking lot, please place the free Parking Pass emailed to you by our administrative assistant and proceed to the second floor in the Mansion East.
